Set in a very good area of Paris, ideal base to wander around.
The bedroom is down what can only be described as a ladder rather than a set of stairs, minor inconvenience but should be noted as could be quite dangerous if you take smaller children

It was very homely and I loved the view of the Sacre Coeur and the secure location (as gated).
It didn’t seem to have any smoke alarms and we were on the 6th or 7th floor. It wasn’t clear what to do in the event of a fire; there was a padlocked ladder under a roof hatch in the stairway! The fire extinguisher at the main entrance to the building was missing. The apartment didn’t have a fire blanket or extinguisher.
