Umhlanga Rox - 2 Bedroom apartment with sea view

Great location.

The property is in a very nice area, it’s clean, very close to the amenities, took a walk to gateway. Close to the ocean, was in a sea view apartment and was lovely to hear the sounds of the ocean. Very quiet and secure.

Location and the sea view was nice

Apartment is small, furniture needs an update, beds too hard, and not the cleanest. Did not like the dependency on the security, at times had to wait over 15 minutes to get into the building.

Stayed at the same property previously and our stay was amazing unfortunately the property has clearly deteriorated since and has not been upkept. We checked in at 11pm and all the windows were still open due to the really bad smoke smell inside the property. This led to an infestation of mosquitoes, we used our own plug ins which assisted alittle, however my kids and I barely slept due to the smell of smoke which we assumed the previous guests were doing inside the property. The coaches are uncomfortable and needs to be thoroughly deep cleaned. We did raise this with the hist and he did get a cleaner out to reclean the property however that was the day prior to checking out. Overall our stay was uncomfortable.
