My experience here was great and I hope to return despite a couple of flaws that I don’t understand why the proprietor continues to ignore. The state of their elevators, which were only four, servicing 15 floors, is dismal. One must have a lot of patience. At one point, only two out of the four were working during my stay on a busy weekend. Plus, there is no service elevator, so this means the housekeeping staff also uses these, and I observed that they were just as frustrated. If I were in charge, I would address this asap as I sensed that this is not just some recent outlier. The other surprise was that the lovely library was closed off to guests Saturday morning for a private event which was disappointing. To me, it was the one asset that drew me to choose the place, and it was unavailable to all guests. But, as I said, I would return, but the elevators must be replaced, not just “repaired”, in my opinion.
