No water pressure in the shower, room was humid all day long despite AC on. The room physically smelled like molds due to the overly humid conditions. The overall quality of the hotel doesn’t match the high price, not even close. I cannot recommend.

Honestly, we were a bit anxious before our stay, unsure of what to expect from a 3-star, budget-friendly hotel like Rove JBR (despite its glowing reviews that even surpass some luxury properties nearby). But the moment we arrived, every doubt disappeared. From the very first interaction—with the bell staff, valet parking team, front-desk crew, and especially the General Manager, Mr. Max—we felt genuinely welcomed. Mr. Max personally stepped in to turn what could have been a disappointing room situation into a delightful surprise, ensuring we got one of the best rooms in the hotel. That gesture alone spoke volumes about the culture of care and attention at Rove. The room itself was simple yet stylish, radiating vibrant energy and equipped with everything a traveler truly needs. The highlight, however, was breakfast at The Daily terrace restaurant. With its stunning JBR views, fresh breeze, and green surroundings, it offered an experience far beyond expectation. The innovative breakfast concept—letting guests choose exactly what they want—helps reduce food waste while ensuring every dish is freshly made. A special mention to Mr. Olex, the restaurant manager, and his wonderful team, who served every guest with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The chef and his kitchen team were equally enthusiastic, making every plate a treat. We loved it so much that we’ve already promised ourselves to come back just for the food! On a return visit to the Rove JBR (visited in June this year), this time with my two daughters and wife. We found everyone so polite and attentive. We were impressed with the restaurant staff Olex and Janet. Saheb, Chan, Anthony, Max and Chetan in reception seemed like old friends and we definitely look forward to coming back to our favourite hotel next time. This time we took advantage of the facilities at the family studio and the setting seemed perfect being so close to the Grandiose and the local shops. Covebeach as ever was fantastic with hot temperatures, cool waters and amazing surroundings in the prime JBR location.

Very, very good. Pure value for money. Proof that you don’t have to spend a fortune for good accommodation. These guys work well, from Reception to breakfast at The Daily, everyone is pleasant and helpful. The same goes for the ones you don’t see: the cooks and the cleaners too. Good job, guys. Management: you’re keeping this crew tight but 1) demagnetized cards are an issue sometimes and 2) if 4 people stay in a studio, there have to be 4 bath sheets and 4 face towels there everyday (ie. cleaners need to know how many people are staying there). Otherwise, excellent.

One of the best property that we have stayed in the recent past. Everything about this place is extraordinary. The location, check-in staff, the cleaning staff and the overall service. They have an awesome breakfast options and very tastefully done. Special mention about Olex the restaurant manager, the chef and Nurjahan , who went out of their way to make our stay very special.

I had an amazing stay at Rove JBR! Everything was perfect! The receptionists went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They somehow realized it was my birthday without me even telling them—and surprised me with a cake! It meant a lot, especially as a solo traveler celebrating on my own. Everything about the stay—the room, the cleanliness, the amenities—was top-notch. I definitely recommend it!

The property is okey for a short stayjust because it’s within the JBR area. I didn’t like the fact they mentioned on Expedia that they offer complimentary access to the cove beach but matter fact it’s who comes first gets in to the beach first very limited capacity!!!!! So if you plan to get access the beach you have to be the early and first in line at 10am to get access otherwise no beach. They have mentioned you get 2 complimentary drinks but Expedia vouchers are out of stock at the reception so no free drinks.

Its right on the Walk so location couldnt be better and given its a bit up the main strip, its quieter. The cove bach club which is offered as a perk given it is on another hotels property is a great place to go. Plenty of pools, beach and a lively atmosphere

This is a great place to stay right on the main strip of the marina. First time staying here after enjoying many of the other hotels in the immediate area on previous trips. The staff are top notch, friendly and the enthusiastic service is outstanding. Take the breakfast option, you wont regret it. Theres a professional gym within a couple mintes walk included in the stay along with The Cove beach club, not much else you can ask for. Will definitely be staying again.

Location for this hotel cannot be beat. There are few things to consider before staying here. The hotel tower is located within a complex of long and short term rentals. During the days it could be loud and a bit crowded with young families and kids playing around. There were three of us sharing a room, the bed was pretty comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t. The room we got was on the ground level right next to an entrance from the street, it got very loud during the day and the door kept constantly slamming and waking us up throughout the night. The pool in the building was nice and easy to access. The beach club access required you to make a reservation the day before, if you are into walking or going for a morning walk to the beach this is perfect, they also offer shuttle to the beach which is convenient for the hotter days, it’s worth mentioning the beach club is not entirely for hotel guests and it’s not attached to the hotel, they have a designated area at the beach only just for hotels guests and the rest is to daily visitors. The staff was amazing, they truly made the stay a lot more enjoyable and we always felt very welcomed. Would recommend staying here, just be mindful of the few things that I mentioned as it could make or break your stay.

Great location on JBR near to everything you ever need. Cove beach was great to receive access to. Staff is super friendly and they were really accommodating when I had room issues.
