A Happy Christmas at the Ketts

We loved the attention to detail In the decor and the amenities e.g , umbrellas on the coast hook, a variety of slippers and sizes at the door. Very well equipped kitchen, including camomile tea , oat milk, seasonings for cooking olive oil and all the little touches in the bathroom! Lovely garden space. I could go on , but I'll leave it there 😁. Oh the property was very warm, excellent heating system

The two single beds were quite uncomfortable, but I am 5ft9 , so may be more suited to someone else. Would have been lovely to have an additional sponge/cloth to clean the bathroom, as there were 3 of us staying and a sponge to wash dishes. Master bedroom definitely needs a mirror over the dressing table. These are very minor things and potentially an oversight and certainly not enough to deter future bookings.

We were given the wrong code to get in twice! The heating seemed to go off too early and it was really cold when you went upstairs, could really do with black out blinds and bins in the bedrooms.

A good base for visiting Norwich.

Very clean property with seemingly excellent facilities (unused by us as we were just using the property for sleeping whilst visiting the area and eating out each day). The parking permit was a great bonus,

Excellent for a family stay

Excellent location, we could walk to downtown, a very pleasant walk; or take the bus about 3mins from the house. The hostess was very responsive and adequate information was provided for everything we might require. Well stocked kitchen with coffee, tea, sugar, milk, cooking oil, olive oil, spices. There was a cooker, oven and fridge. Adequate beds provided as advertised. Lovely art pieces in all the rooms, the ambiance is excellent. It was good for the family to come together and talk freely, catch up…we live in different places so this was ideal for the home like space.

One bathroom…a minor inconvenience that we worked around.

Well appointed self catering house, within walking distance of riverside.

Lovely central area for walking into Norwich, or up to Mousehold heath. Bedrooms extremely clean and comfy, great linen and comfortable beds/pillows. Lots of things in the kitchen for self catering, great little dining table. Large and comfortable sofa, good sized tv, fir evening in. There's even a little garden to let the dog out at night Parking on the road easy to get space right outside. Great location when exploring all of the local area, lovely gardens and viewpoint across the city directly opposite, or better still on the heath above. Owners easy to contact when we had a couple of queries.

Quite a busy road outside. Garden quite wild and messy, nit relaxing to sit out in. Bathroom being renovated. It worked, but not as polished as we'd hoped.

Lay out was very good. The location of property.

The curtains. Blinds would be better. The sun is so bright and curtains are to light. Also need a blind on front door as nearly all glass. It's to bright shining onto the sofa. There's also nothing on the back door or kitchen, I didn't like that.

Clean property about 30 min walk from town, but extremely uncomfortable beds meant no sleep.

Very clean, good communication from owners. Location was ok. Lots of space to park on the road.

The beds were so uncomfortable that we had to leave a day early. The mattresses had springs sticking out of them, and no one slept properly. Also, we paid to bring our dog, but last minute discovered that we were only allowed a dog under 15kg. This left us scrambling to find kennels before our trip.

Downstairs bathroom was cold and damp. Shower screen wasn’t big enough to stop water going on the bathroom floor and didn’t seal.

Very pleasant stay

This property was in an excellent location with on road parking available immediately outside. There were nice touches such as the host leaving biscuits and milk for us to use. The property was nice and warm and there was plenty of hot water. I would stay here again.

The property is situated on a very busy road so there is quite a lot of traffic noise.
