Booked the property at a bargain price. Great location, quiet, warm, spacious and comfortable with easy access and ample parking. Plenty of information and concise instructions from the vendor prior to arrival. Wendy also met us on site to make sure we were ok and settled in. Appreciate the personal touch!

Slightly nervous over the keyless entry system using a dedicated app. Lost phone, flat battery or network issues and you couldn’t get in but the vendor did mention a plan b was available. We had no issues though and can clearly see why it’s beneficial.
Couple of minor cleaning / maintenance related issues but nothing to cause us any problems. WC could do with some additional fixings.

El apartamento muy bien equipado, limpio y nuevo. Está a 40 minutos en tren de Edimburgo, y hay 20 minutos andando a la estación Nord, si hace mal tiempo hay un servicio de taxis que hace todos los trayectos locales a 7 GBP
No hay supermercados cerca o restaurantes, a cambio es muy tranquilo y rodeado de zonas verdes

Property point of contact was patient and somewhat responsive. The multiple layers of apps and contact mechanisms made her job as difficult as mine. Apartment was spotlessly clean.
Making contact and getting in was complicated; requires downloading multiple apps and opening accounts/passwords within each to get in and access amenities. Property is difficult to find - the facility is NOT located at the address given by rental car GPS or phone. All told, it took 5 hours to figure out how to get in. If you're not tech savvy, don't want to open an on-line account to work the heating, or don't live via your phone, this place isn't for you. No hardcopy info on how to operate heat, appliances, locks, etc. Gave up trying to use the washer/dryer. There are a few "Dymo" labels on selected appliances but instructions are not sufficient. Largest complaint is lack of hot water - heater only works from 07:00 to 08:00 - button on wall turns the cold water lukewarm after a 15-min cycle - repeated pushes make the water warm at best (so, 30-45 mins to get hot water after 08:00) - water never hot enough to remove butter from a knife, even with soap. No way to turn heating on or off. Two pieces of loose veneer on kitchen floor. Toilet seat and commode are loose and wobble or slide around. Limited horizontal space in bathroom - toiletries, toothbrush, etc. need to perch on windowsills, edge of bath, etc. Batteries in the TV remote were flat. Bulb in bedside lamp broken. Pillowcase in main bedroom stained. No access to live local broadcast TV for weather, news, etc. (Fire TV only). Shower geyser flow is low and temperature control finicky - never had a shower at a comfortable temperature. All but two interior doors need wedges to keep them open and walking through them makes the wedges come loose (wedges are too small and floors flex). I've stayed in other apartments in this property that were better.
