Clean, tidy and comfortable. Good location for Deer Park.

Situated about 25 mins from Edinburgh which is perfect if you have a rental car and don’t want to pay the exorbitant prices of a downtown hotel. Owner was fabulous and let us check in early as the room was already cleaned so we didn’t have to drag our luggage into an Edinburgh car park. We also really appreciated the little touches like cans of cold soda in the fridge and cookies on the table. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of linens for a family of 4. Furnishings were modern and the place was sparkling clean. Parking space was clearly marked and instructions throughout the property were clearly posted so it was easy to figure out WiFi. There was a floor fan in the main bedroom which we appreciated as the days/nights were sweltering.

Neighborhood is a little rough around the edges and it looks at the back of the co-op. It was very hot as it’s the dead of summer so a floor fan in the spare room would be a nice addition as the kids were pretty overheated at night. Mattresses were fairly hard but that’s just a matter of preference. I like softer beds but some people will like it super firm.

Wohnung entsprach dem Angebot über Booking.com. Ausreichend Handtücher zur Verfügung. Grundnahrungsmittel vorhanden. Sehr ausführliche Willkommensemail, mit allem, was man braucht. Bahnhof fußläufig gut zu erreichen für Direktverbindung nach Edinburgh, man kann gut auf das Auto verzichten. Späteres Auschecken wurde uns gerne gewährt, danke dafür! Wohnung liegt teils in der Einflugschneise des Flughafens und auf der Rückseite eines Supermarktes, daher recht laut. Pfannen in der Küche teilweise nicht nutzbar, weil schon sehr verkratzt. Die Duftstäbchen in jedem Raum sind Geschmackssache, unser Ding war es nicht.
