Great stay

Really great location, close to Eliburn Park and reservoir. Co-op is very close by for picking up essentials. The house was clean and well equipped for self-catering. My youngest son said it was the best place we had ever stayed! Would recommend and would book again.

Lovely getaway! Couldn't fault it!

The place was spotless, and had everything we needed for our short family stay. We are on a 4 week holiday travelling through Europe and, unlike many other places, Oldwood Place provided plenty of the things you needed like dishwashing liquid, sponges, cleaning equipment, etc. All the facilities were as described. I also forgot to ask for a portacot and on the first night reached out to the host at about 9pm to ask if there was a possibility of getting one the following day. To my surprise, he offered to bring it around that night!! He was at the residence within 10 minutes with a perfect cot and clean linen for it. The beds were comfy, with lovely clean linen and plenty of pillows. We were really impressed and couldn't fault it!

It has an electric shower system which meant the shower pressure was a bit low, but it was not a big deal. I am told by my husband that it is pretty standard for Scotland (we are Australian).

We made our own breakfast, and the location was perfect for the concert we were going to at Murrayfield. The estate was nice & quiet.

The mirror in the bathroom was too high. c Could maybe have blackout curtains, especially in the Summer.

the property was just what we needed for a nice comfortable stay. when we got there the heating had been put on so was lovely and warm. everything you need was provided, the property was immaculate. it was in a nice quiet area and close to all amenities. would definitely recommend 😊

Very clean property , with a great welcome packing area and a tray with coffee / tea biscuits etc . Nice and quiet location with local shop and takeaways & nice park within walking distance. Owner Mark left his mobile no incase of any issues . Which there wasn’t . All good and would recommend 😃

Stay was extremely comfortable and relaxing.

The location was fantastic. Close to many tourist attractions, off street parking and private garden in a lovely neighbourhood. There is a local co-op only 2 minuet walk around the corner with all your necessities to hand, however all major supermarkets all within 10 min drive. All beds were clean and comfy, black out blinds in the rooms which were a huge bonus in the summer nights. The entire property was immaculate, and finished to a very high standard. The kitchen is top notch with a lovely seating area, with all the usual appliances which are pretty high spec including washing machine and large fridge / freezer. A lovely touch and completely unexpected was a beautiful tray of biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and milk ideal after a journey when settling in and toiletries in the bathroom. Wi-fi was strong, t.v. worked if you wished to use. Much better than staying in a hotel if travelling with kids or just wish the more homely feel and privacy with your partner or on your own.

Stairs a touch noisy and toilet a bit cramped due to a large sink but these do not in anyway take away from the property and the fact it is utterly amazing and worth every penny.
