Excellent location (a car is a must) for travelling to the hotspots like Varenna, and the ferry for Bellagio and Menaggio. Lovely home, around 6-7 minutes walk into the village centre and water front. Very lovely host Marco, and his very lovely family. They were so welcoming and we would love to stay again if we visit the area again. A real delight to live amongst locals, like a local.

My girls weren’t keen on dogs but the dogs were very well behaved.

Superbe vue sur le lac et facile d’accès pour aller au centre ville. Hôtes sympathiques. 10 minutes à pied par un escalier assez raide. Pour bon marcheur. Le plus, il y a un emplacement pour la voiture.

Le moins et c’est à prendre en compte, c’est l’accueil avec les chiens qui dorment sur le palier devant la porte du logement et qui dégagent une odeur intenable dans le hall d’entrée. Ce sont des chiens très gentils mais cela peu gâcher le séjour. Nous étions là pour 2 nuits seulement donc nous avons rien dit mais c’est dommage

Marco picked us up from the train station & brought us back to the train station, which made it so easy with our luggage! The town is about 10 minutes away on a steep walk. The apartment is the separate lower level of a family home, which worked fine for us. The beds are super comfortable and the wash machine came in very handy. The 3 main towns on the lake were only a short ferry ride away so we could visit them in one day.

Being American, we are accustomed to eating when we want. We were able to get dinner, but be aware of the times the town restaurants serve food.

Über Messenger bekamen wir eine Wegbeschreibung inklusive Bild, so dass die Anreise und auch die Übergabe problemlos war. Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig und komfortabel ausgestattet. Alles hat gut funktioniert. Die Aussicht von der Wohnung und dem Balkon auf den Comer See und die Bootsanlegestelle ist phantastisch. Der Besitzer wohnt mit seiner Familie und seinen Eltern mit im Haus. Sie sind alle entgegenkommend, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Erreichbarkeit war ausgezeichnet. Zu Fuß ist man in 10 Minuten im Zentrum und am Hafen, dazu muss man etliche Stufen steigen.
