The Beach Cottage Nook

We loved how close the house was to everything , less than 5 mins walk to shops and supermarket , 15mins very easy walk to the beach, cafes and great pubs within 5 mins , short drive to city and the hills . Great pet friendly backyard . Everything you need was in the house and it was so quiet and peaceful in the evenings .

Glad we only had 3 people theres certainly no room for a 4th as the duplex is narrow and small but the ad said suits 3 so theres really nothing bad to say ! Car spot is only big enough for a small hatchback so we parked on the street on front of the house. No issue at all.

Beautiful cottage in a nice quiet street. Only 5-10 minutes walk to the beachfront, and 20 minutes easy walk to Jetty Rd shops and the tram line (which can take you to the city centre). Plenty of parking out on the road infront of the cottage, and there is a narrow carport for the more skilled parkers. An IGA supermarket is 2 minutes walk around the corner. There is a fabulous coffee shop at 33 Hastings Rd called Market33 which is also only a few minutes walk. Lovely big garden out the back. Kitchen has everything you need, and the welcome bottle of red wine was a lovely bonus. Plenty of room for the three of us, I'd definitely stay here again.

No clothes dryer but I did eventually find a clothes hanger outside around the corner of the house, & the clothesline worked fine on sunny days. Might need earplugs if you sleep in the front single bed as the neighbour liked to play their guitar quite late at night on a few occasions.

The property is so perfectly located. A quick trip anywhere really, lots of great local eateries and a 1 minute walk to the supermarket. We felt safe and comfortable. The house is so charming. The firewood was a lovely addition, we enjoyed a glass of our complimentary wine by the fire.

Nothing, we loved it.

For us getting in and out of the bath for a shower.
