Half Moon Bay Inn

Perfect location in Half Moon Bay in a charming Italian European style hotel. It has stairs no elevator but that wasn't a problem for us. The bed was very high for me so they brought me a stool which was perfect.

Location in the center of town, great small inn ambiance.

No A/C - just fans so it was warm at night. Also parking was iffy, luckily we found a spot but didn’t dare move once we got into the lot.

Location was in the center of the downtown. The building had old world charm, and was updated nicely. The Inn provided several nice touches, artisan soaps, sweet glassware, in room coffee/maker, and a text message when our room was available. Downtown HMB is charming and with nice shops/restaurants. We would stay again!

Pillows! Nice feather pillows would have fit the price paid for the room. A little something to get you going in the morning would have been nice as well, a muffin, croissant, etc.. We stayed on a Friday evening and our room faced the street, which produced quite a bit of noise, but died down about 11ish.

The room was clean and well decorated with a beautiful visual appeal. The kitchenette was a plus.

The room was situated above a restaurant, and the kitchen's exhaust fans were on. This made the whole room rattle and hum, and they stayed on until 4am. the next morning the kitchen staff came in and played music so loud it was clearly heard by us in the room at 8am, and the exhaust fan was again turned on causing the room to hum and vibrate. the wifi would not connect, and the front desk is not staffed after 6pm, or before 11 on a Sunday. Making it hard to correct issues. These issues did not warrant the cost of the room in my mind.
