Good location if you wanna hang out in half Moon Bay we went to the show at box Society and didn’t wanna come home that night so we ended up staying here. It was a great experience. Thanks again.

There were problems with almost everything in our Deluxe King room which caused a very sleepless, difficult 3-day stay leading to me missing most of my dad's 86th birthday trip. Especially for the exorbitant price of $750 for 3 nights, it was shocking and unacceptable to have all of the following problems:
🔹️A super old completely caved-in bed on both sides
🔹️Thermostat heating/AC completely broken and unfixable
🔹️Fridge frozen and unfixable
🔹️Door lock broke and we couldn't get into the room, missing dinner reservations. It took Gerardo 40 minutes to fix, including examining all 5 problems with our room, 4 of which which weren't fixable.
🔹️Lastly, the water pressure was so low that showering became a huge time consuming task.
We would have asked to switch rooms right away, but that was not an option because it was a full house our whole stay.
I'm requesting to be compensated for our miserable and very stressful 3-day stay. It was impossible to sleep, and when I could fall asleep it wasn't for more than an hour. Needless to say, I had serious back pain and was so extremely sleep deprived that I couldn't function for the entire trip! When I got home I had to sleep for 2 entire days and 2 nights, and still couldn't recuperate and ended up getting sick which further messed up my entire schedule and deadlines.
It was also an inconvenience that there was no elevator, especially being on the second floor with a good amount of luggage. The only wonderful part of our visit was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Every single person who worked reception, maintenance, and housekeeping were stellar. Specifically tracy, gerardo, and Sarah. Overall, I definitely do not recommend Half Moon Bay lodge. The only reason I even considered paying that much money for a 3-day stay was because this hotel is the only one in all of Half Moon Bay that has a swimming pool, and because it was right next to where my family was staying. I expect a luxurious, top-notch, functioning hotel room for that price!!
