We were charged an 60€ late check in fee (we lost navigation in Paris rush hour traffic), and we felt like that was very high, especially since we kept them updated about our arrival.

Perfect location: Just a 10-minute walk to the Louvre, conveniently close to the metro, and situated in the charming Saint-Germain district. Well-equipped apartment: The property provides everything you need – dishes, a stove, and a washing machine. The bedding was also of good quality. Warm during winter: The heating system worked well, and the apartment stayed warm and cozy. Spacious: While it can accommodate up to 4 people, it is most comfortable for 3 guests.

Late check-in fees: Arrivals after 8:00 PM incur a steep additional charge of €80. Lack of transparency regarding the deposit: €500 was charged as a deposit at check-in. The refund process only started after I contacted the host multiple times. Eventually, the money was returned on the 8th day after check-out. However, the host deducted €7 for a bank transfer fee and €40 for electricity usage, even though this €40 was already included in the original payment through Booking.com. My complaint about the double charge for electricity was ignored. Roof leakage issues: At check-in and in the apartment description, there was no information about roof problems. On January 2, there was heavy rain in Paris, and I woke up to water dripping directly onto the upper bed. The roof leaks, and judging by the yellow stain on the ceiling, this issue seems to occur regularly. When I informed the staff responsible for check-in, their response was: "You know, works are in progress on the roof."
