Sourdiere Louvre Vendome with AC

Location was excellent, beds comfortable, kitchen and washer/dryer were a great addition to our trip and the air con was fantastic.

Minor quibbles - not a great seal on the shower door so we saw minor leaks on the floor every shower, and the entry way to the building was where trash is stored, so there’s an odor to fight through when entering and exiting.

The apartment was very close to Louvre, easy access to the metro station Pyramides.

We had a very bad experience with the check-in process. The administration seemed confused about our arrival date. The property instructions said we would be contacted before check-in, but no one ever answered our calls or messages. On the day of our arrival, nobody showed up to give us access to the apartment. We were forced to book another hotel for that night, at our own expense. The person in charge finally appeared later, but by then it was too late. We are still waiting for a reimbursement for the night we couldn’t use the apartment. Very disappointing and stressful start to our stay in Paris.
