Doña Rose Surf Hostel

I liked the cat and the volunteers, they were nice and helpful! They also organise some activities. Common area is spacious and nice. They close the terrace at 23h which is good because there is no noise during night.

There could be a cockroach here and there. Last two days wi fi as well as my mobile internet didn't work inside the hostel. Sometimes people in the hostel keep talking and making noise a bit after 23h. Toilet in the ground floor often runs water constantly which is not good, because of water waste as well as the sound of water which I hear in my bed.

I had a great stay at Dona Rose surf hostel, the location is perfect near the beach, the staff was very helpful, especially Lucca who helped me with the check- in and answered all my questions, also the manager Steffi was very nice and helpful. The hostel also has a cute cat named Moxie :)

The cleaning. The volunteers were cleaning the toilets in the morning and then never again. The toilets were really disgusting… mushrooms in the curtains of the shower. The owner should pay to someone to clean property… not because is a hostel is gonna be not clean. I was in the same hostel in triana and was super clean! Nothing to say. The quiet time was at 23 pm but they did not respect the time. It was often noisy at 23.30 and even at 1 am, when the volunteer come after party (with the guest). The linen was so old. You could buy new ones if youre in the hospitality business.
