Houseboat PURE II

Die Lage war perfekt, Wir saßen stundenlang auf dem bequemen Sofa und haben die Vögel und Wassertiere beobachtet. Es war sehr ruhig dort. An dem großen Esstisch haben wir gern gespielt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

Auf dem Hausboot gibt es drei Schlafzimmer. In dem einen Schlafzimmer befanden sich auch die Dusche, Badewanne und WC. Wenn also jemand aus den anderen Schlafräumen nachts aufs WC musste, musste man diesen Schlafraum durchqueren bzw. das WC in dem Schlafraum benutzen. Für Familien mag das gehen, aber für z.B. befreundete Paare ist das sicherlich ein Problem. Es stand diesbezüglich auch nichts in der Beschreibung des Hausbootes bei Booking.com. Ein Moskitonetz an einem der Fenster wäre nicht schlecht, denn es gibt viele Mücken dort wegen des Sees. Wir konnten abends leider nicht mehr lüften.

Die Lage sehr gut und idyllisch.

Der Weg dahin sehr schmal und lang.Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe ohne Auto erreichbar. Das Badezimmer ist in einem der Schlafzimmer drin,nur für eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern passend,wenn einer duschen oder baden möchte. Wasserhahn oben defekt.Kein Besen vorhanden und kein Spülmittel. Das Geländer zum See ist sehr niedrig, Kinder können nicht alleine draußen stehen. Im Eingang vorne müsste der Weg repariert werden, Stolperfalle.Wenige Tücher vorhanden. Der Ofen geht nicht richtig zu. Lange gesucht um das Licht anzumachen.

The location was a 3 minute walk for me.

I was refused to have my service animal accompany me (which isn't legal), and the owner asked me "why I needed a service animal", which is also not legal. I've never been refused him nor asked "why" I have one. A comforter was also missing on 1 bed, the bed I preferred. The outlets stopped working in the evening. This happened during my first stay, and the owner never replied to my message regarding how to fix this. The next morning (on my first stay), I had to make my tea downstairs with the 2 working outlets. The father (who lives next door) showed me how to fix this issue if it happened again during my 2nd stay. He's lovely and I appreciated him showing me as it happened again. As a paying guest, I shouldn't have to worry about the electricity shutting off, nor how to fix it. Lastly, the cleaners showed up at 8:57am on the check-out morning, which is 11am. I won't be booking this location again, nor will I recommend it. The company who did recommend it to me has been informed of my troubled stay. They're equally disappointed. Note, I rated it very well the first time mainly due to the location to where I needed to go. I chose not to mention the electricity issue as I spoke directly to the father the next morning. Note, the owner never acknowledged the issue, not even to this day. No reply to my text. But what happened this time was unacceptable. I'm a very understanding person and let many things slide, but I couldn't this time. I'm in town for the next 3-5 weeks and have already found another place to stay, who also states "no pets', but didn't have an issue with my 'service animal', nor did they inquire 'why'. The new place is a 15 minute walk as apposed to 3 minutes, but I'm okay with a little inconvenience for being treated with respect and kindness.
