    Stayed one night at Maison D Hotel and overall it was decent for the price. The room had everything I needed. Strong AC, hot water, towels, water bottles, and a functioning bathroom. I booked a standard room, and the photos showed windows, but my room didn’t have any windows at all. The lobby often smelled like grilled cheese or other food, probably because there’s a restaurant underneath, but thankfully the smell didn’t reach the room. The bed was a little hard, pretty standard for budget hotels in Vietnam. I also checked the mattress for bed bugs and didn’t find any, though the mattress itself looked a bit old and slightly dirty under the sheets, so they could probably improve that. Reception was straightforward and helpful enough. Check-in was quick, and they even offered me an upgrade to a balcony room. If you book directly at the hotel, a standard room is 400K VND and a balcony room is 600K VND. Since I only stayed one night, I didn’t bother upgrading. Overall, it worked well as a simple place to shower, cool down in the AC, and sleep between exploring Hanoi.

    The pictures are not real. Thay have dirty linen and restroom. My family and I needed to book a different hotel 5 minutes upon our arrival. The smell of the place made us all dizzy
