    Great views from the property located on a steep hilltop overlooking Kandy city and lake. Friendly staff and good service.

    Upon arrival, our room had already been given to someone else. We were then taken to a worn-out and smaller room in another hotel. We refused this room. Then it suddenly turned out that there was another, larger room in the same hotel. The next day we were allowed into the room we had reserved in the villa. We turned out to be the only guests. The villa gives the impression that the original residents had just left and left everything behind. The room is very dated with its furniture from the 90s. The shower is in a non-working bubble bath. The flush button of the toilet is hanging loose. And finally, they managed to start a large fire right under our balcony, which completely enveloped the room and the villa in smoke for many hours. This villa is clearly not ready to receive guests. That is a great shame, because it is a beautiful villa, with a beautiful location.
