    A truly amazing trip and one which will be in our hearts for a lifetime. From the moment we arrived the hospitality was second to none, we were given early check in after a 32 hour journey from England. Then they booked our safari ensuring we were able to have a naturalist join us for an ethical experience. The safari booked through the hotel was incredible, with once in a life time experience seeing the leopard climb the tree and come back down again watching her for 25 mins. Alongside great views of the elephants, crocodiles and spotting jackals and lizards, turtles and so much more along the way. While we were on safari the team upgraded our room which had incredible views from the balcony and a beautiful room with a bathtub! The restaurant team were also amazing, asking about our safari, sharing in the enjoyment of our experience and of course putting on a great buffet. Can't fault the stay and would highly recommend to anyone wanting an elevated safari experience

    Our 2nd time in two years and gradually improvements could be seen. A good stay for the Wilpatthu wildlife park. Good restaurant, helpful with pack-breakfasts for early morning safari travellers. WiFi was week in our room but mobile hotspot worked fine.

    This is a relatively new place and landscaping is still in progress. The rooms are reasonably sized and decently furnished. Like most other places staff training need improvement. We were assigned room only to find later it was the wrong room and were bumped off to another room! Since we are courteous people, we obliged but never to return again. The dinner buffet was a joke with tasteless food and roast chicken was like stone. The packed breakfast was low quality with old white bread with a thin slice of cheese and an over riped banana. The HB room rate was high compared to the service and quality of food. There aren't many hotel choices in the area so one has to pick from what is there.
