    A delightful last minute booking. Our favorite stay so far in Sri Lanka. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The sound carried from the kitchen (at reasonable hours), but somehow it was charming rather than annoying? The breakfast was excellent, but the real start was the very attentive and sweet staff.

    What a treat it was to stay in this beautiful colonial style hotel. The warm welcome from the General Manager and his team was very much appreciated. The décor and furnishings were beautiful and in keeping with the property. Our room was luxurious, very tastefully decorated and included everything we could possibly need, the whole place was absolutely spotlessly clean. Dinner, served by the log fire, was delicious and the service discreetly attentive. By far the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special.
