    As my first hostel experience, I was surprised to be the only foreigner. Mostly older men hanging out. I was showering one night & 3 guys with full yakuza tattoos came into the shower room & started goofing off. It’s not spotless living conditions, but good value & friendly staff. There’s a lot of adult entertainment & promoters in the area of Akabane, but Silk Street was really cool.
