    Newly built, well maintained, clean and functional. Therefore it’s not really low priced. Rooms are not really as big as people reviewed but it is definitely better sized than Tokyo. There is no USB port in the room, the socket is Japan standard. There’s complimentary tea/coffee sachet, hot water kettle, dryer, compact fixed sofa seat with desk for one person. The bathroom was very clean, the shower is wonderful, the WC 🚽 is high tech. Since it’ is located in a residential neighborhood, you need to walk 5-7 mins to reach a convenient store , public transport or restaurant.

    this was a very clean and renovated hotel. the staff were very friendly on our checkin he came to the elevator and bowed until our elevator door closed which was very respectful. the reception staff were very friendly and also translated and assisted us to heat some of the items we got from 7/11. rooms were very clean and very centrally located we used to cross the bridge and walk all around kyoto.. overall we had a great time and booking last minute at Glad One made the experience in Japan a memorable one.. Thankyou to all the staff who work here

    I understand there's a wave of 'environmental' minimalism hitting hotels. But not having enough variety in the in-room drinks bar, no bottled water etc are something i dislike. It appears as 'cheap' and taking away choices even if you provide alternatives. People don't want to be inconvenienced during a hotel stay, end of the story.
