Williams Beach Retreat

I recently travelled to South Goa with my wife for a two-day trip and unfortunately chose to stay at this property. Although the location is good and the property is conveniently located close to Colva Beach, the overall stay was extremely disappointing and far below our expectations. The room was very small, uncomfortable and poorly maintained. The bed and room had an unpleasant smell, which made it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed during our stay. Cleanliness and basic room maintenance clearly need significant improvement. What was even more disappointing was the lack of basic amenities and services. Even simple necessities such as proper slippers/sandals and other basic facilities were not provided. For a property charging guests for a stay, these are basic expectations and should not have to be repeatedly requested. The staff was also very unprofessional and unhelpful. The overall service lacked hospitality, responsiveness and professionalism. Instead of making guests feel welcomed, the experience left us frustrated and dissatisfied. The only positive point I can mention is the location, as it is close to Colva Beach and convenient for people who want easy beach access. However, a good location alone cannot compensate for poor room conditions, unpleasant smell, inadequate facilities and disappointing service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property unless significant improvements are made. Based on our experience, I would not choose to stay here again and would advise other travellers, especially couples and families, to consider other accommodation options in the Colva area.

The rooms are not as great as shown in pictures. It's an old hotel needing lots of maintenance. The first room that we got had balcony locked. The hot water didn't work and the flush had rusty red water. They shifted us to a second room where everything was working. It's right on the bus route and lots of local restaurants to cater to your mood. If you need an inexpensive place to stay without any food included, you can try this hotel
