We highly appreciate Thierry, our host. He went absolutely out of his way to help us in resolving rental car issues with Herz. His wife, Émilie made the best strawberry jam in the world. The Location is exceptional, we can walk to enjoy the beautiful sunset from the top of the ancient castle, the light show of the hanging footbridge, and the night light of the valley. There are no more than 20 residents in this little village, Hautpoul, in the night, but absolutely lively during the day. There are several cute little shops in Hautpoul:
Beautiful craftsman wood art, ice cream, crepe, beer, cute restaurants with view, some even lively music.
