    Last year they were in a different location. The kitchen got so much bigger, loved the additional 2 sinks, 2 stove tops. Lots of utensils for cooking. I would add extra lights though, at night it's hard to see anything, hard to cook, hard to wash dishes. You might notice that the dishes will be cleaner if you install some lights over the counters. The kitchen lights are just too soft! This is my desire from last year too - this place really needs some mosquito nets. The windows are open all day & night, mosquito's are still a pain. The vibe turned into "co-working", and it feels like most people don't really talk to each other anymore. Just a different vibe altogether, everyone is in a gadget of some sort most of the time. The common space is still pretty small for the amount of beds in the hostel, in my opinion.

    I stayed at Karvi Hostel for 9 nights recently. While I found the staff to be friendly individuals, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hostel due to the poor state of the facilities and general cleanliness. The Pros: Excellent Location: The hostel is situated in a prime spot, which made getting around very convenient. The Cons: Cleanliness: The hostel consistently felt dirty and cluttered. There was a lingering, unpleasant odor of tobacco and sweat throughout the common areas, and the bathroom floors were constantly wet. It appeared that housekeeping was infrequent—sometimes occurring only once or twice a week—and quite erratic; I was even subjected to cleaning activities as late as 10:45 PM. Facilities: There were several major maintenance issues, most notably that only one shower was functioning during my entire nine-night stay. The Wi-Fi was also very slow, making it difficult to get any work done. Comfort: My bed was uncomfortable, and I found the room to have a persistent, unpleasant smell. Additionally, there was a dog barking next door that made it difficult to sleep. Services: Laundry service is available for 10 Lari. While the young adults running the hostel were nice people, the lack of attention to personal hygiene and the overall upkeep of the property made for an uncomfortable experience over such a long stay. I hope the management takes these points as constructive feedback to improve the property for future guests.
