Unstable & cramped bunks- quilt & pillow in very miserable condition. No window blind. No washroom commode seat. Google location wrong in agoda website-almost make me ending up in jail by knocking on someone else's premises.

I stayed for a week. I looked at the most remote hostel based on it being service by a bus route to that went into the city. An epic hellhole, it advertised having a washer but - not so quick - it was great 25 AED for 30 mins. The equivalent of not having a washer. Wifi was fine. They advertised NOT having hot water. A true but meaningless disclosure. The water was warm. There were no cold showers. Common area refs were shared but I detected no theft. I was a pretty good test case. I bought a case of those 1.5 AED Cokes so I always presented a tempting target. On a positive note. The UAE buses run on time. Schedules are online. U need to swipe ur payment card on both the way on and off. Otherwise, u are assumed to have gone all the way. And that 2 AUD charge is horseshit. U get charged based on distance. Usually around 3 AED for me. Back to the open dorm-style, if you are unlucky enough to get placed in the middle bunk, you have no direct access to power. Oh, and on Thursday I got bitten all over my body. Telling me what I already knew. Get out!

1. Flies & cockroaches roaming anywhere 2. Bed linen smelly and disgusting. Comforter dirty with foully smells. 3. They come early morning and simply turn off the A/C while everyone still sleeping. 4. Very bad staff. In summary, the owner just being greedy and does not care at all with their guests.
