Prima Del Cielo -Appartamento Monti

De locatie is heel mooi, dicht bij de prachtige natuur. Pamela is een hele attente en vriendelijke gastvrouw, heeft onze aankomst heel goed voorbereid qua incheck details, maar ook veel tips gegeven over de omgeving tot aan de bustijden aan toe.

Alles was goed geregeld, ik miste alleen haakjes in de badkamer om handdoeken op te hangen. Verder alles comfortabel.

Casa antica in centro storico, piccola ma accogliente con tutto l'essenziale. Ristrutturata da poco. Parcheggio vicino quindi facile con le valigie.

Non so se era il periodo o la stufa a pellet, ma il primo giorno abbiamo sofferto un pochino il freddo. Noi abbiamo fatto un breve soggiorno.. forse sul lungo soggiorno questo problema non sussiste in quanto i muri antichi si scaldano meglio e non ti danno questa sensazione.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt und wurden überaus nett und zuvorkommend empfangen. In der Wohnung/Haus ist alles was man benötigt und im Ort letztlich alles was man so braucht, Geschäfte, Bar, Restaurant, Apotheke etc. Gleich von hier gibt es tolle Wanderwege, die Gegend ist wunderschön und die Menschen sehr freundlich und offen. Bis Varenna ist es auch nicht weit, quasi gleich im Geschehen. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt am Comer See. So kann man die Berge und den See gleichermaßen genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

My son and I stayed for two nights here. Absolutely lovely apartment. Beautifully renovated to a high standard. Parking was easy and free, a bonus when you are on a road trip ! The kitchen was well equipped but as we were only there for two nights we didn't really make full use of it.

Although it says it's Lake Como, it actually isn't. It's a 35 minute drive up hairpin bends and switchbacks which are daunting the first time you do them but they do get easier. Big issue - no WiFi in the apartment. We were on a road trip and needed to send our details to the next stage of our trip. Luckily the pizza restaurant a few meters away had WiFi so we could access that, and the pizzas were amazing ! But, although their website said they were open on Mondays, they weren't. Also, bring earplugs if you want to sleep longer than 4am. There is a cockerel that crows so loudly that you think he is actually on the bed post ! The Bells .... dear me, the church bells every hour on the hour and also every half hour. Also, the goose - random but he makes the weirdest noise ! Make sure you close all of the triple glazed windows, earplugs in and eye mask on and you'll have a lovely night's sleep.
