Sura Concept Hotel

Great location and breakfast. Nice to have access to pool at larger hotel down the road. Staff were all nice.

No desk in room. AC initially not on, then when addressed freezing cold with no ability to adjust from the room. Shower: low placement (waist level) of hand held faucet (the only one that worked); water not hot enough; slow drain. No one at desk - need to phone or walk to other hotel. Very limited lodges and chairs at pool, closely packed together so if you are lucky enough to get a lounger you have to crawl up from the foot of it.

Incredibly central location beside blue mosque. The staff are really attentive and check in with you every morning at breakfast to see if there are any issues. I’d some AC problems and they fixed it quickly (though it then broken again). Beds are really comfortable and you’re walking distance to main sites and beside the tram.

Sura concept is separate to the other sura hotels on this street and does not have its own reception. This would be ok but entrance door is also always propped open so without someone there it feels like a security risk.
