    One of the best breakfast spread I have seen. Special mention to the team of Aura restaurant, exceptionally warm, attentive and personal in their approach making us feel with our 1 year old at home. Special mention goes to Ms Maryam, excellent host.

    I can’t believe this is supposed to be a 5-star hotel. As a frequent traveller, this has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. I booked this hotel nearly ONE YEAR in advance, yet we were given what felt like one of the worst rooms in the hotel — in a very noisy location close to reception and the rubbish area. Reception was chaotic when we arrived because of a large group checking in, and I felt that very little attention was given to us. I had also requested an extra bed, but my request was ignored. I asked if we could change rooms, but I was told they could not move us because a large group was staying at the hotel for several days. This was extremely frustrating. We had noise until around midnight, making it very difficult to sleep, especially as I am travelling with my elderly mother and my 11-year-old daughter. To make matters worse, there was no housekeeping service provided to our room. I even had to ask for clean towels myself. This is definitely not the level of service I would expect from a hotel advertised as 5-star. As an Asian guest, I also felt uncomfortable with the way I was treated and wondered whether we were being treated differently. I cannot know the reason for the treatment, but this was genuinely how the experience made me feel. After receiving such wonderful, genuine customer service from Avilla Cave Hotel in Cappadocia, the difference was shocking. Metin at Avilla was an example of what excellent hospitality should look like. Great location, but unfortunately the service and room experience have been extremely disappointing. Booking almost a year in advance and still receiving such a poor room and level of service is very hard to understand.

    My husband and I spent 5 nights at FourG Premium and were very impressed with this boutique hotel - staff were very professional, helpful and warm, room was spacious and spotlessly clean with good strong shower jets and everything works well! We had booked an Economic room and were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived, they upgraded us and allowed us to settle into our room before the official check in time. They indeed are very accommodating and make every effort to ensure we had a comfortable stay. A very short stroll to the Hippodrome and also T1 tram Grand Bazaar area meant it has an envious position that enabled us to duck back in to recharge briefly before heading back out again! When I come back to Istanbul, I certainly will stay there again!

    The standout feature is the excellent location making it convenient for exploring the area. Cleanliness was generally good, while the facilities and value for money were fairly average. Unfortunately, the staff service was disappointing and took away from the overall experience. A decent option if location is your main priority, but the service could be improved
