Luxury Oasis Suite

Well appointed, roomy, wonderful pool/gym. Fantastic value for the money. Thrilled about the restaurants just below the unit at street level. So convenient. Would absolutely stay again.

Had to personally contact the manager to have the check in instructions sent to me a few hours before the check in. Unit number was not included in those instructions which led to a small delay and confusion at the front desk on check in. But honestly, not a big deal.

Location was good.

Construction

The location was great. The apartment was very nicely decorated. It had everything you could need. Air conditioning worked perfectly.

The check in process was a nightmare. On the day of my arrival I did not get an email with explanation about how to check in. My daughter finally found a way to contact the person in charge of the property. That person couldn’t tell us anything about the check in either. I went to the building and encountered a very frustrated concierge who had nothing to do with the Airbnb part of the building. She advised that I had to go into a storage room to find a lockbox with a particular number scribbled on it. There were dozens of lockboxes and the correct one was difficult to find. Then back to the front desk to sign paperwork. I then had to go up to the apartment ( which was hard to find) to get a garage door opener. Back down to the concierge to get a parking pass for the parking garage. Then I had to find the correct parking spot which wasn’t easy either. If all this had been explained to me by the manager of the property I wouldn’t have been so stressed out. I can’t even imagine arriving after dark having to deal with all that. The other unpleasant part were the cockroaches but they didn’t appear until the second day.

Was not told in advance what type of coffee maker, had to buy filters I’ll never use. Difficult upon arrival no real help from staff, retrieving fobs frustrating to find.,
