A fantastic B&B with the benefit of having a bar and restaurant downstairs! Great location, walkable to French Quarter and Bourbon St, the WW2 Museum, garden district, paddle boats, streetcars and Big Red Bus stop. Wonderful mattress, pillows, linen, bathroom products etc. Super staff, fantastic hospitality. Residents’ rates for restaurant and house wine. Complimentary breakfast served on the 2nd floor veranda - what a great way to start the day.

Ik verbleef hier onlangs alleen en heb een fantastische tijd gehad. De hotelkamer was prachtig en erg ruim, wat het een fijne plek maakte om tot rust te komen. De locatie is ideaal: alles is op loopafstand bereikbaar, maar omdat het hotel niet in een druk gebied ligt, voelde ik me er erg op mijn gemak en was het heerlijk rustig. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en attent, waardoor ik me als soloreiziger direct welkom voelde. Het ontbijt was elke ochtend erg vers en lekker (ook al was de keuze elke dag hetzelfde). Daarnaast is het restaurant van het hotel echt uitstekend, ideaal als je een avond op hoog niveau wilt dineren zonder de deur uit te hoeven. Een absolute aanrader!
Er is overdag geen fysieke receptie of personeel aanwezig om je te helpen met vragen.
De enige persoon die ik gedurende mijn verblijf heb gezien, was de heer die het ontbijt verzorgde. Ik wil benadrukken dat hij zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk was; hij deed zijn uiterste best. Het is echter jammer dat er na het ontbijt niemand meer is tot wie je je kunt wenden.
Als Europese toerist is de enige contactoptie een telefoonnummer, niet werkbaar. Bellen naar een buitenlands nummer brengt hoge kosten met zich mee, en het ontbreken van een simpel alternatief zoals WhatsApp of een chatfunctie is in deze tijd echt een gemis.
