The hotel is nice but old under the fresh new coating paint, which you will notice right away if you know where to look. The hotel is located at downtown NOLA, where a lot of stuff to do at night, especially it located couple blocks away from Canal St or French Quarter. Our room was fine but the room was full smell of bleach when we received the room, some of the lights were not function, and our shower floor tile was came loose from the floor, which my wife and I accidentally kicked to it. The hotel description stated that they have to pool on the roof top, but when I asked the access to the roof, the representative not so keen to answer my question. It seems like they abandon the pool, because I can see it on the google map. Overall, the hotel is nice, free PB&J from 9p-10p but for the price you better look somewhere else. My wife and I always stick with IHG ,Sheraton , Western, or Four Season, and we want to try something else difference but it seems like Le Pavillon did not make the cut.
