Everything about our stay was perfection. The standard room is huge, the hotel has such personality and the decor is beautiful, the staff are so friendly and the little details (e.g complimentary coffee and cookies at night) make Maison de la Luz so special. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in NOLA

I wouldn't say this feels like a 5* hotel. Very nice location and pleasant staff, but I found amenities lacking. Would definitely recommend if you find a good deal price, but we felt we overpaid considering what we got.

Hotel itself was great. Not sure if they are understaffed or what but it was very difficult to get someone at the front desk on the phone from my room. Also waited for a while on occasions when down in the lobby for someone to come from the back. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and very accommodating.
