This apartment is well located within walking distance of Tirana's main attractions. The building felt safe, in a good neighbourhood with shops very close by. The host was helpful and friendly and allowed me to store my luggage when arriving in the city ahead of check in. For an extra €4 i was able to use the washing machine and items dried during the day on the balcony. Instructions were clear, and it does feel like a little home whilst you're away.

The bathroom light is automated by movement and the timer doesn't last very long at all. Whilst going to the toilet or in the shower the light will turn off and you have to wave your arms around to get the light back on again. Though I understand this is for environmental reasons, the timer should be extended as at the moment it is far too short - plus the sensor takes a good few animated waves before it registers, so overall it was frustrating. It is a minor thing overall, but it did impact my enjoyment of staying here.
