The drive way and whole outside was a sheet of ice. But we laid down salt and that really helped. We had an amazing time so it wasn’t a big deal. Just wanted to share.

BEWARE if the Hot Tub is an important amenity for your stay. Hot tub wasn’t working at all. Error code was flashing and was very cold. Found that out after we got in. We were notified 3 hours before arrival the hot tub “froze”, but they poured hot water in it and “hopefully it should work”. Well it didn’t. We contacted the manager and were sent a YouTube video for us to try and reboot the hot tub. Meanwhile the video was for a different model hot tub. After a while of trying to google and trouble shoot it we contacted the manager again only to be told that the pipe to the hot tub froze. Not sure how watching YouTube videos to reboot the system would help with that. Clearly the hot tub was shut off during freezing temps and not kept on in preparation for our stay otherwise every hot tub in that area wouldn’t be working. That was one of the amenities we filtered our house search to include. It was our daughter’s birthday weekend and her only request was to relax in a hot tub. The other amenity was a game room located in the garage which was pretty cold because there was no heat in that room. Nobody came over to try and rectify the hot tub situation. We were offered a $53 refund for the hot tub not working our whole weekend which is unacceptable when we paid over $1,000. We could have easily rented a home without a hot tub and saved much more than $53 for the weekend.
