Amazing view and great location. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Walked a few meters and saw Zebra and Wildebeest. Also saw about 50 vultures the next morning.

It was self catering. The location was perfect. Added the beauty of the surroundings.
The fact that we were not warned about the hot water lasting for about 7mins at a tym during a shower.

Drakensbergen are magnificent, 3 nights where way to short to explore and also relax a bit (which we both like on vacations). Accomodation is on top of the mountain and blends in very nicely. You just walk out to join a hiking trail. Nice beds, nice living, fine bathrooms and kitchen. Terrace is great (it's a pity the braai is on the other side of the house), but could use some comfy furniture.
It can be cold in the mountains: you need the wood stove to keep warm, and as it is not too big, it is just sufficient.
