The little tack room was perfect! It had the most wonderful mountain view, you could lie in bed and see the mountains! The house gets afternoon sun, so we dashed out and did tourist things and headed back for the warm sun. The fireplace was amazing! The warmest and most efficient fire place I have ever used. We were far enough from shops that we felt it was so peaceful without the rush and close enough that if we needed to dash out we could. The cottage is situated right under an awesome mountain view, and you can get a sneak peak of the Drakensberg birds of prey centre from the balcony.

The cottage below had a few people, possible a staff compound, That was a little noisy. They tended to play soccer and congregate during the day, and even though it was good screaming and chatting noises, it still disturbed the quiet mountain range we were after. Make sure you are comfortable with your partner when you stay at Nyathi. The bathroom door does not close/seal as it's an old barn style slide door. The TV had a cracking sound in the speakers which ment we couldn't play music in the background. Bring a speaker along. The mountains kept us entertained.
