The Loft Retreat

Well situated, well appointed and comfortable, very clean, private, safe and welcoming. Instructions were clear and everything was perfect.

Gorgeous brand new property. Gardens everywhere places to sit outside in backyard open to forest. Homemade water garden with running water going all night was a pleasure to listen too. Brand new furniture and tons of comfort items in fridge by owner

Perfuming the place is craziness! Each time you walk up/down stairs to get into the unit a sensor goes off and perfume sprays out onto your body. Same kind of thing happens when you open the cupboard under the kitchen sink to access the garbage can. For an allergy sufferer it is a terrible thing. Bed sheets & coverings also heavily perfumed. I slept on the couch for a couple of nights to get away from the perfume and opened all windows. The owner although very pleasant, did not answer messages when we arrived to get in. So we got in later when we could find someone around. We wanted to stay an extra day after already booking 2 nights (initially) and had to book the third day separate online as the owner didn’t answer any messages about extension. That was fine except it costed us an extra $40/ night to book the extra night. Spoke to owner about the cost discrepancy and she didn’t understand, thinking it was the same cost- it wasn’t! And it was apparent that she wasn’t able/willing to make it the same cost as the first two days.

it was a very handy location to where our function was. Very well maintained property and very clean. The bed was super comfortable.

A gem of a place! Don’t think twice about staying here, it will definitely book up quickly. The loft has everything you will need and then some. The king size bed was a treat, excellent mattress and plush bedding. Rosemarie, thank you for creating a beautiful space.
