Stellar Central City Apartment - Hagley Park

Trish was a fantastic host. She was helpful, efficient and always very quick to respond. The flat was comfortable and in a really convenient location, with Hagley Park just across the street, which was great for a walk or run. I really appreciated her allowing me to check in early and leave my suitcase there until my flight. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend Trish and her place.

Right next to Hagley Park. Easy communication with the owner via email. A 20-30 minute walk to central Christchurch. A pleasant walk, all along Hagley Park, then follow the Avon River. The Metrobus also runs from Selwyn Street (about a 2-minute walk from the accommodation) or Christchurch Hospital to the bus interchange in the city center. The fare is $4, but it's valid for several hours, allowing you to change buses without having to pay extra. The accommodation is fully equipped, perfect. My tip: visit the Air Force Museum.

Very modern, clean, well set up with everything you might need - really good communication with the owner. Excellent all round.

Good location to shops, park and other facilities. Bed comfortable. General furnishings in ok condition. Nice to sit in sunroom area for meals.

The cleaning not up to par with thick dust and hair around the unit. Oven was filthy from previous use and the side bracket broken when removing tray.
