Maison au cœur des vignobles de Saint-Emilion

The location is excellent, a few minutes drive from the town in a quiet peaceful area. The plan is well equipped and clean. Parking is directly outside the accommodation. The beds are comfortable, there is good hot water and there are 2 toilets. The hosts were very helpful throughout the booking process, with good communication.

There are not enough comfortable chairs inside for 4 people, we ended up bringing in chairs from the patio. The below would not be an issue in winter however, for heatwave conditions we found an issue with ventilation: In the bedroom upstairs with single beds there are no windows that open which in a heatwave was not good. Fans were provided. In the bedroom with the double beds, to get any airflow, the windows open inwards directly over the bed. A person in our party got up out of bed in the night and cut his head open on the sharp corner.

Quaint. Quiet. Self sufficient. Clean. Lovely garden. Very close drive to local villages. Huge thanks to Ghislain for bringing in air cond during the heatwave! You saved our holiday.

Steep narrow stairs (easy fix- we left our suitcase downstairs).

Logement chaleureux, propre. Propriétaire réactif. Nous avons passé un superbe week-end.
