ΜΑΡΙΑ η ΧΑΛΚΙΔΕΑ

The property is located very close to the corniche boardwalk with all the restaurants etc, very near the old bridge.

Pretty much everything else was below expectations to some extent. The outside of the property is dirty with smog from the heavy traffic. The entrance is quite unassuming. Inside, the apartment is essentially a furniture warehouse, rendering it totally cluttered and unusable. This is a 1 (!) bedroom but we counted a total of 21 (!) seats/chairs (including 3 sofas), 5 (!) coffee tables, a kitchen table and a dining table with benches. Meanwhile, the bed is narrow. The bedtime reading lamp next to the bed was useless decoration because there was no power socket. The shower base/half bath tub is dangerous as it is mostly a steep and slippery slope, with only a very small flat area to stand. There was a hotchpotch of random little decorative items in the house. We saw dust and human hairs. I think the owner means really well, I am convinced of that. However, the end result is not what the typical traveler expects or can use. Maybe they are an older person. It needs to be uncluttered and modernized.

Perfect location.

Σπίτι ευρύχωρο, ευήλιο, με υπέροχη κλασική αλλά και παραδοσιακή διακόσμηση. Δύο κλιματιστικά ώστε ο χώρος να είναι δροσερός το καλοκαίρι. Η ιδιοκτήτρια κυρία Μαρία εξαιρετικά πρόσχαρη και ευγενική. Το τσεκ άουτ στις 12 επίσης πολύ καλό σε αντίθεση με τα κλασικά τσεκ άουτ στις 11 σε άλλα καταλύματα. Θέα στη θάλασσα από το μπαλκόνι. Παρότι εντελώς κεντρικά, που σημαίνει ότι με τα πόδια πας σε όλα τα σημεία του κέντρου της Χαλκίδας, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της παραλίας, η καλή ηχομόνωση σε αφήνει να κοιμηθείς ήσυχα το βράδυ!

Πρόταση από εμάς: μια απλώστρα ρούχων και ένα μικρό σίδερο ρούχων. :-)

Η τοποθεσία καί ότι ήταν άνετο καί μεγάλο τό σπίτι. Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι όταν θά ξαναπάω Χαλκίδα εκεί θα μείνω πάλι.
