Delightful rural location with a view and within easy distance of the castle and Jerash. Well furnished with lots of blankets. Good communication and a lovely neighbour greeted us and provided induction. Terrific to have a kitchen and washing machine.

It’s obvious that this is someone’s holiday house and that’s fine but when charging guests to use it one really should attend to these things: No toilet paper. No wooden spoon or spatula for cooking leaving only a metal spoon that scratches pots No kitchen sponge/cloth or brush to wash dishes or wipe benches. Only one large scratched up saucepan. No kettle to heat water. One dinner plate. Large bed uses one synthetic sheet that slipped off the mattress. And it hadn’t been washed or even straightened after the last people! No top sheet so had to sleep under a blanket that had been over many people many times. Unacceptable. Hot water not switched on before we arrived. Tiled floors hadn’t been swept or mopped. Asked to be tidy and remove shoes which is OK but just outside the access door is tiled but deep in dirt and dried mud that no one has swept or shoveled away in ages and no mat at the door.
