We absolutely loved virtually everything about this location, it was our favourite of the entire tour. Hosts were both very friendly and helpful and, unlike every other host we had in Denmark, do seen to realise that Covid is now over! It was spotlessly clean, the excellent bed was made, the spacious parking was onsite and not visible from the road, the presentation/decor is superb, it's spacious without being too big, the shower is amazing and easily takes 2 people (we were on honeymoon!). The nozzle seems a bit minimal, but actually does a really good job. The kitchen is minimal but just big enough for emergency cooking and there is a washing machine which was very handy for us at the half way point of a 2 week trip around Denmark. There are 2 great value Italians in Nibe (slightly odd as there are no other restaurants there!) but loads of great pubs and restaurants in Aalborg. Although guests are not allowed in the greenhouse we loved seeing it as we went past going in and out and have decided we want similar in our own new house! It was a great stop off point for a day exploring the area N of Aalborg on route between Aarhus and the Thy National Park. They have set up a fire pit for guest use in the wood behind the house, but we were too busy to use it. We would have given the same top rating for VFM if it had been 20% more expensive! The way the spare bed packs away is very impressive.

Steps outside are steep and tricky with heavy bags, or would be for more infirm people. The provided squeegee is great on the shower screen but doesn't really work on the tiled floor. Maybe an old towel dedicated to the task would be a good solution? Sitting up in bed is a bit tricky with the angled roof. We always try to be honest with the good and the bad, but this trivia really is all we could come up with for this otherwise wonderful location and none of it was enough to knock our overall ratings down from straight 10/10 across the board!

Estada molt agradable a l'allotjament. La dona que ens va atendre va ser molt amable i tot estava molt ben cuidat i net. Lloc molt tranquil i amb intimitat. El recomano!

Es ist eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir je gebucht haben: Blitzsauber, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber und eine gute Ausstattung. Es handelt sich um ein kleines Appartement auf einem alten, behutsam renovierten Hof. Es besteht aus einem Wohn- und Schlafraum, einem großzügigen Bad sowie einer Kitchenette. Hier gibt es einen kleinen Backofen, einen kleinen Kühlschrank, eine Kochplatte, einen Wasserkocher und eine Kaffeemaschine. Eine einfache Mahlzeit lässt sich dort problemlos zaubern. Es ist insgesamt bemerkenswert, was Lone und Peter aus den Räumen heraus geholt haben - hygge. Allerdings sollte man beachten, dass die Räume über eine steile Außentreppe zu erreichen sind. Für Menschen mit einer Gehbehinderung könnte es schwierig werden. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem kleine Dorf. Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist problemlos und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Zum Abendessen hatte Lone uns Jolens Café in Nibe empfohlen. Mit dem Auto ca. 15 Minuten - auch dort waren wir sehr zufrieden.
