Location is exceptional. Right by a little stone bridge across the river that runs through the hamlet next to Castelnuovo di Garfagnano. Town is a few minutes drive away with a good selection of restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets. even a cinema! Johanna was a delightful, albeit virtual, host, and very helpful with suggestions. Be careful of the river though. it can rise very quickly as my daughter discovered and Johanna warned. Beautiful walk up to the fort and back to town. An idyllic part of rural Italy.
Nothing. But the house is not really suitable for older/infirm people, and possibly very little ones, as it has 3 floors with the bedrooms on the top floor and the bathroom on the bottom one. And very narrow stairs.
