A very cosy lodge, perfect for a gathering of friends for the weekend.

Very comfortable for the five of us. Tastefully furnished. Great location.

The shower didn’t seem very secure on the wall. There was a small leak by the window when it rained very heavily.

Views and location were fabulous BUT the quality of the lodge’s fittings and facilities were poor.

Fabulous location

The hosts were lovely, and communication was great all the way through. The location is amazing, overlooking the estuary, with a view of the Isle of Wight, and really close to town and lovely walks up the river. It was really nice watching the boats and SUPs go by. The town is a pretty 10 min walk along the river path, and passed the quay the other way along the river is plenty to see. Well equipped kitchen, easy parking, and a really quiet area, as it is inside the boat yard.

The bathroom is ready for a spruce up, with peeling paint over tiles. And it is quite pricey for the quirks of an older static caravan.

Beautifully set by the river, very peaceful and tranquil with lovely views across the river with the boats moored up and beyond. Within walking distance to a nice restaurant - the Boat house and the town of Christchurch. Lovely walk along the river into Christchurch.

The key box was very tricky to open, it needs a service. A less practical-minded person would not have been able to open the key box.

Gorgeous riverside accommodation, we had a great weekend in a stunning setting

The location is truly amazing. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, calm, and really well equipped. The gas bbq is a fantastic addition as we were able to easily and quickly rustle up a meal outdoors on our first night. Christchurch has some really beautiful old streets, a fantastic choice of restaurants for brunch, dinner and all you need. The Priory is minutes away and the riverside location means you are right next to boats and paddle boards floating by. Candice and Dan were friendly and helpful. SloMo was a fantastic experience, we all enjoyed the sauna and ice baths. We really loved our stay.

Definitely coming back!

Beautiful, quiet location right on the river front where we were able to sit and watch the boats go by and enjoy the wildlife on the opposite bank - loads of swans and other birds. Communication and check in we're straightforward and Dan was very helpful and friendly. The lodge was comfortable and well equipped and it was a short, pleasant walk into the town to the pretty quay, priory and ample choice of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. We also enjoyed local walks and exploring Hengistbury Head. Perfect for our trip and I would like to return and stay longer.

Stunning views and beautiful lodge and wonderful area

The area and views are just amazing , being so close to Christchurch is wonderful and to have the sauna and cold plunge pools are such a fun bonus, we had the best time hosts were amazing would love to come back

Such a lovely location but took a while to find it. Stunned by the lovely location with an amazing view of the river

The main lights in the kitchen flicker when switched on - could cause a migraine! Probably have LED lights in old ceiling fittings. I know this as I had the same problem at home and needed to change the fittings as we couldn’t get the old bulb types
