3 Cowper Place

The cottage is lovely, very comfortable, great amenities. The welcome basket of bread, milk, eggs, jams, & biscuits was great, as was the tea & coffee. The living room was very comfortable & large. The location is ideal for walkers, close to Clitheroe, not far from Skipton. The Spread Eagle pub is a few minutes walk away (lovely views, great staff, wouldn't recommend the food sadly).

We could have done with a couple of extension cords as the lamps in the bedrooms are not useable as there is no socket close by.

Lovely location, great walking in the area. Hosts were really helpful. Little extras left for us on arrival were very thoughtful.

All the kitchen appliances including an kettle, air fryer, microwave, halogen hob and easy to use oven and washing machine were of high quality and had easy to read instructions provided as well as all the cooking tools and a separate fridge and a separate freezer { so there is plenty of room for all your self catering needs}, the so you do not need to bring anything except your clothes and personal possessions, because every need from extra bedding, tea towels various sizes high quality of bath towels and cleaning tools and products even special perfume hand soaps and shower gel are provided. The furnishings were comfortable and of high quality and tasteful. The bed, beddings and bedrooms and storage were of a five star hotel standard. And the garden was a delight to relax in all I could hear was the birds singing and even there is an umbrella washing line for drying your clothes and an airier inside. Also there is a lovely summer house with heating and a comfortable sofa and even a radio to listen to. The electric heating in the house was warm and comfortable and the hosts also provided books magazines, games CDs etc, every comfort you could wish for to make it a home from home.

Nothing I didn't like, because all the above was provided.
