We will definitely be back!

Having found this property very last minute on Christmas eve due to another property cancelling we were extremely lucky to find it and it exceeded our expectations. Kim was very responsive to messages. Its beautifully thought out, decorated to a high standard and has a very cosy feel. Such a lovely view too. Was such a bonus to be able to put our presents under a real tree. The pub down the road is also lovely. We will definitely stay here again.

We were a little cold at night, the duvet was quite thin so we would have benefitted from having a blanket we could have put over us, but we are southern softies not used to the cold up north!!

We didn’t know how to open the door on the wood burner and had no light ,the price for dog to stay was a bit dear as she’s well trained and clean,

The property was modern, well thought out and very warm and cosy. We will be rebooking it again in the summer. Perfectly situated for exploring the area. Lovely views of the countryside and Pendle hill.

Very comfortable and pretty cottage. It was a great location with beautiful views and a perfect space for one or a couple. It is small, but also all one needs and I enjoyed the space very much.

Idealic cottage in a beautiful location

Absolutely beautiful cottage in a perfect location, just the peace and quiet that we wanted. Communication with the owner was great and responsive. It was like a home from home with everything in the cottage you could need from kitchen appliances to shampoo in the bathroom. Couldn't ask for more. We will definitely be back!

What's not to like? Cosy cottage, great views, quiet secure garden that Buddy (dog) loved. Loads to see and do. Perfect for me and my dog.

Everything was so well laid out and catered perfectly for those staying for a wedding. terrace was a lovely sun trap in the early evening. host attentive on arrival to assist with finding the lock box.

A lovely converted building perfect for 2 people. Pleasant secure sunny outside area ideal for dogs and eating out. Very well equipped cottage with quality items. Information pack sent online before arrival and plenty of local leaflets and maps/ information at the cottage. Very comfortable . Pub with good food within 5 minutes walking. Highly recommended.

Felt very cosy. Lovely views from back garden and ample space for the dog. The Spread Eagle Pub is a stones throw away which serves lovely food and dog friendly too.

The cottage was a perfect home from home, it had everything you could need. The bed was super comfortable. There were smart tvs in the lounge area and the bedroom. The whole cottage was finished to an excellent standard. We never met/saw Kim but I’m sure she would have been around if anything was amiss. The log burner and private garden are both welcome bonuses. It was very quiet and we had a lovely time. The cottage manual was a god send. I didn’t know how to work the electric job but all the appliance manuals are at hand in a cupboard. Sawley Abby is literally 3mins on foot from the property. The cottage was clean to a very high standard. the bathroom is small but being a larger lady was more than adequate.

lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. the weather was fantastic so I loved opening the bi fold doors and having our own little garden overlooking the fields and the hills.

Loved the cosy cottage, it was a bit chilly the first night we arrived but soon warmed up with log burner. Bottle of wine in fridge too. Great manual for instructions to everything.

The location is fantastic.

The views were amazing from the patio area, looking out over Pendle Hill. It was nice and clean throughout. Small and cosy, perfect for 2 people. The host, Kim, was very kind helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. Great location. We will be recommending to friends and family.
