Peacock Lake Villa

Die Villa hat eine idyllische und ruhige Lage inmitten der Natur und nahe bei einem kleinen See. Sie liegt in optimaler Entfernung zum Minneriya Nationalpark und unweit von Sigiriya. Die Zimmer sind groß, sehr sauber und luxuriös ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Das Abendessen und Frühstück war fantastisch.

Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, hatten aber leider nicht mehr Zeit eingeplant. 🥲

Hotel pequeño con 2 habitaciones con mucho encanto, camas supercómodas, muy limpio, con zona delante de las habitaciones con vistas al lago. Pasannara nos facilitó mucho la estancia; el desayuno, excepcional, y también la cena. Totalmente recomendable.

Exceptional service. The kindest and most helpful host you could ask for. He used to work in the hotel industry and you can tell as he utterly spoilt you and no request was too much. Welcome drinks, immaculately clean room, beautiful high quality bedding, unbelievable view, secluded bungalow / villa where you sit and watch peacocks, mongoose and an array of birds all day then at night I sat with the lights off inside watching 100s of fireflies! I encourage everyone to stay and the food was out of this world! I ate breakfast and dinner there and he even made me packed breakfast to watch the sunrise at Pidurangula rock, then lunch for my trip to my next Homestay in Peredeniya. His hosting level means I would stay here for 4 + nights and visit all the archeological sites within a few hours (he helped with ideas and taxi links). I was the only guest, yet he still organised a safari with his brother and accompanies as your guide and the price was much lower than everywhere else despite me being alone! As a single female travelling this was my first time in Sri Lanka and it’s the safest country I’ve ever felt.

It’s just off the road so you can hear the traffic but I expected this and was not an issue as you’re further down the end of the garden by the lake so quieter than the main house.

le propriétaire très sympathique. C'est récent, bien entretenu, bien équipé. Il y a de la place dans la chambre, de l'espace devant et derrière, une vue sur un parc et un étang où il y a oiseaux et écureuils . Proche de la route et de l'arrêt de bus... mais les chambres sont au fond du parc, si bien qu'on croit être loin de tout. La cuisine est bonne avec des portions suffisantes. Pour ceux qui se déplacent en bus : arrêt en face de l'hôtel dans le sens Est ouest et à 800 m dans le sens nord sud. Idéal pour un break, ou pour aller à Sigiriya. Pour ma part, j'ai passé beaucoup de temps sur le lit à regarder les oiseaux au travers de la grande baie vitrée
