Modern Family Apartment with Rooftop Acropolis View Access

The stay was wonderful. The property is walking distance from center and 500-600 m away from both line 1 and line 3 metros, which is really great. Several supermarkets within 5-10 minutes of walking and some tavernas and bars near both metro stations. This is what I always look for - convenient, near the center but not exactly in it. Check in was easy and the host even arranged an early check in for us. The apartment is clean; all rooms are spacious enough. Spacious bathroom with a washing machine and the kitchen full of equipment (two types of coffee machines, kettle, toaster, cooking top, oven, fridge, microwave) and exceptionally comfortable. When we arrived, we got full jars of espresso capsules, ground coffee, tea, jams, coffee whiteners and a pack of bread crisps. Enjoying the jam on these crisps with a coffee on the balcony made every morning fantastic! The neighborhood is calm, major road nearby and its traffic is not too noisy on the balcony and the windows suppress it completely in the interior. Views of the city and acropolis from the rooftop terrace is another perk, if you enjoy chilling on the terrace in the evenings. From the airport we arrived to syntagma square with X95 and walked through the center even with luggage and two kids, although tired, we really enjoyed the walk through the center on arrival. Departure was even easier, Monastiraki metro is really near, and we needed less 80-90 minutes from apartment to the airport even at 5:20 at Sunday morning.

Nothing worth mentioning, related to the apartment itself. Maybe the tangerines picked from the trees near the property were not as sweet as expected, They are not harvested for a reason, apparently :)

This apartment was very clean, very well appointed and very comfortable. Kitchen had pots, pans, dishes etc which were all in good condition, there was coffee, water and a few snacks available for us on arrival which is really useful especially if arriving on a late flight. Comfortable beds. Good location - 30 min walk to Acropolis, close to Kerameikos metro station, it’s on the airport line and it’s 2 stops away from Syntagma. Lovely rooftop! There is an Art Museum right opposite the building - worth a visit, great souvenirs in the gift shop and a nice cafe and restaurant. Periptero and AB supermarket nearby. Great communication with the host, we needed a place to store our luggage on the last day and they graciously helped with that.

Nothing really, we were very happy with our choice.
