The Pink chair questhouse

We had the most wonderful weekend here. The farm setting, with sheep, geese and chickens made it such a peaceful and relaxing escape from the bustle of Joburg. The place was spotless, private and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Oh and there are books to read if you feel like disconnecting like I did. The location was easy to find, and Veronica was the perfect host. She was friendly, responsive and happy to help whenever we needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay and left feeling refreshed. We would definitely love to come back, I can’t recommend the place enough.

We had a little issue with the geyser not heating the water but Veronica quickly sorted it out.

I loved my stay from start to finish. The host was wonderfully welcoming and friendly, even checking on me during my stay. The amenities were great, and the level of thought and care put into the facilities was much appreciated.

The noise from the road, geese, and chickens was slightly unpleasant. This was not so much a "did not like" as much as a "could have been better".

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. The property was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the host was both welcoming and attentive. Overall, the experience was excellent and easily deserving of a rating above nine. The only minor inconvenience was with the geyser, as we were unable to access hot water upon returning late at night. However, I am confident this has since been resolved.

The host was really kind and very helpful. The complimentary amenities exceeded my expectations too.

We did not know that the place was located on a farm as we arrived after dark and I don’t think it was mentioned on the website as well, if it was, we missed it. The chickens started clucking past 2 in the morning, every-time they stopped and we would fall asleep, they would start again. The water was also very cold while showering. The host did mention that the geyser was powered with solar, but I did not expect it to be so cold while showering (at 9am).
